The cat was given a toy to throw at a listing of investments and did FAR better than an actively managed fund! Notice, however, that the index fund did better yet.

So, basically, these fund managers and the high expenses of managed funds are far worse than an index like QQQ or a Diamond.

Silly...

Which is why invest almost exclusively in no-load index funds through a discount broker.

Why pay more to get less?

After losing my bacon on WCOM I vowed to NEVER own another equity stock.  No matter how much you do right there's one idiot insider or some political whatever that could blow up your entire portfolio.  I only trade index ETF's and have for years and also never buy and hold.  It's all about playing whatever strategy that fits with the current market direction.

However, this kitty thing does sound appealing.

Teejaay - 2013-01-25 5:25 AM That's because cats are smrt!  I let my cats make all of my financial decisions.

HAHAHA too funny,

I would let my little fella call the shots on my investments, but I think he secretly hates me since we introduced a dog and a baby girl into the equation.

A monkey throwing darts at the stock page also does better than most fund managers.  Surprised

But who can read the stock page after it's covered in monkey feces?
