Expert 1233 | Subject: RE: Kindle Fire Tablet Very nice if you want to watch movies, read a book, get e-mail, skype, etc. We have a HD and a HDX (HDX is faster, better graphics, and has a camera). Downside is that it's not a PC (although you can get most apps to do want you want), and there's a limited storage capability. My wife uses hers probably more than her laptop. For the price, they are very well worth it. Oh, and I asked this question last year or so on this board, and bought it based on the recommendations here! |

If you want to use it more like a tablet PC then the iPAD is the way to go. |

Surely the newer Fires have improved that experience. |
