Am I getting old?

Have you said any of the following:

"I can't believe kids call this music!"

"Turn that cr@p down!"

"Hey you kids - get off my yard!"

When I was in high school and college I used to get the "dude, you write like a girl" comments.  Now it looks like everyone else's chicken scratch because all I do is red-line drawings and scribble measurements all day.  Everything else is corel, word, or excel.

If I try to write a note by hand on a notepad my hand is tired by line 2... compared to no fatigue three hours into the SAT many years ago.

Do you have a stick for shaking at whipper-snappers?

Have you ever tried to send back soup in a deli?

I don't write much more than a note here or there in a journal.  Usually just enough words to capture a thought for later.  And then later, look at it and go, "What the hell was I trying to say?"

Bartow FL?!

One of my favorite post-swim meet foods was at a meet in Bartow. They were boiling corn on the cob on a stick, dipping it in butter and passing them out to the swimmers. Man that was good!

Yes, you are getting old. Be thankful for it. Your spelling needs work too, not just your handwriting.
