Expert  1091   Madison |  Subject: Know of any Olympic Distance triathlons in WI or MN in early Sept?I was going to do the Lake Geneva Oly tri but between the bad reviews on race organization and the hefty registration fee I am reconsidering. I would like to do one more Oly before the end of the season and wondered if anyone knows of any in Wisconsin or Minnesota (I would even consider in early September. I will be doing the Lakefront marathon in early October so I can't do anything too close to that. Please let me know if you know of any races in this timeframe.

Pleasant Prairie is expensive too but I was actually considering it as it is really a nice area. Half!! I would kill myself! Of course if I got a dry run in and was ok with taking my time . . . and the registration is less. . . I have cousins in the area I could stay with to make it cheaper . . . I will have to seriously think about it. Do I get to taper two days for a half?

And at least I don't growl at people! And you can't beat me up because I would bleed on you and you know blood stains. Besides, I'm short so I can hide really well. |
