I've found that sometimes if you don't eat well the day before, and you work out, that you are then either (a) starving the next day or (b) tired the next day. Looks like you're at option b. Resting today is not bad, just don't use the tiredness as an excuse for bad nutrition.
Exactly.
On a Friday, I ate a big lunch, but skipped eating more than 200 calories for dinner to try to lose some weight.
Then on Saturday, I woke up to do a 40 mile ride in 100F heat. I ate around 700 calories for breakfast before the ride.
I was SO TIRED on the ride! My body HURT so bad. I had a headache... it was a struggle to keep up my speed. It was horrible!
In addition to that, if I workout at night, and don't get enough food in before I go to bed (trust me, I eat, but at some point I get sick of eating )... when I wake up in the morning, I am drained.
Eating properly is very important.
