I don't think Obama is the one who came-up with, or pushes the proliferation of this logo, but I'm a little creeped-out by his team's use of this logo.  What other president has had a logo?  It's like they're saying "just vote for the symbol of Barack Obama."

I'd say it's a bad decision by his team.

Perhaps you could start referring to him as "The President formerly known as Barrack Obama?"

He had a logo 4 years ago, but it wasn't embedded in the American flag. That's what I don't particularly appreciate. But I haven't seen it being used widely, either.

Every presidential nominee has a "logo" or "mark" - color scheme - etc. Here is Romney's:

Agree 100% .. don't even get me started about the rules etc about changing the American flag or wearing it on clothing (modified etc). Obama is a smart man....he should surround himself with smart people that will make smart decisions not people who cut corners or don't know the rules...or maybe he just doesn't care....either way that is unacceptable in my mind.

This isn't the only artist's rendition for sale, there is another version and some other original work....

https://store.barackobama.com/obama-2012-store-collections/artists-for-obama.html

I think it's just generic marketing.   Unfortunately, I think a fair portion of our society will vote for a picture instead of reading up on which person to vote for.

I got a FB post from a local talk radio station that inferred that it was a poor decision to release the art because the stripes looked too much like bloody handprints  in some photos of our attacked embassy in Libya.  I'm not an Obama guy, but that's just dumb.

My personal feeling is it is a really poor choice for a logo.

I could also see how it could be spun into further "evidence" that Obama is trying to fundamentally change America.  Let's be clear I'm not voicing my opinion on this argument, I'm just saying I can see this turning out ugly...

Apparently everyone refuses to believe that many candidates have done this for a long, long time. Not to mention the way people have incorrect versions of flags/flag art hanging on signs and folk art all around their homes in the U.S.

So, Lincoln is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest presidents we've had - so look at this:

This is blown way out of proportion.

Eh...sometimes I surprise myself.  If that were an actual flag I'd have a major problem with it.  As a symbol of their campaign....I couldn't care less.
