When I was younger, the work "'skinny dipping" implied an erotic event. Bring older now and having a pool in the backyard, I find skinny dipping refreshing and liberating...and very 'natural'. Go figure.

I used to live in Germany where its completely acceptable to swim naked in the lakes. Its also fine to be naked in a park. No one thinks any thing of it. I never owned a swim suit, just took my cloths off and swam. It was wonderful!

Geology Field Camp - there was lots of skinny dipping. Good wholesome fun. If I had a backyard pool, I'd be in it nekid all.the.time

All joking aside, I live in Oceanside, CA.

In terms, of naughtiness, I would far less prefer to expose to my children to the party bimbo atmosphere (and the beach fashion that goes with it) that occurs on many beaches after 12 noon than I would most nude beaches or local skinny-dipping ponds.

Our local "textile" beaches are strictly go for a morning run/walk while the kids play before or after breakfast/brunch.

I never looked at skinny dipping as an 'erotic event,' just something...taboo...you are stripping down to nothing and might get caught. Adds to the excitement, I suppose.
