Subject: Hard Effort--Intense Sugar CravingsAfter a hard Oly on Sunday, like after most endurance efforts, I craved red meat and had it. Day of and day after, I'm not that hungry. Now, I have had intense sugar cravings all day. This has never happened to this degree (before, I'd have some Krispy Treats or ice cream and be fine). I'm snorking fruit, fruit juice, 70% cacao chocolate, tea with Splenda, but it is NOT abating. I assume this is fairly common, but will it go away? It's overwhelming. Would eating something salty help? HELP! |
