Garmin 705 Upload Error

Subject: Garmin 705 Upload Error

Just got a Garmin 705, upgraded my BT membership and trying to use the garmin import now. It connects to it fine and finds the workout that I want to import. I click import to training log and it takes some time with a spining bar thing and eventually fails saying something went wrong. It says to send a file, but Im not sure what to send.

Any idea on why it fails and what file you need?

No, I broke it by not counting on the fact that some people will use these but not have HR Zones defined.

yams, try an upload from your 705 now. I don't have one to test against, but the file size shouldn't be an issue now unless it's ridiculously huge.

Sorry, still fails. After I start to upload the workout it eventually fails saying "somethings gone wrong" and thats it.

Can you send me the tcx file?

Edit: I looked in your log and saw the power information. Is the 705 interfaced with a power meter? That could be the culprit. I'll definitely need to see the file to have a shot a figuring this out.

I just sent the power meter to support's email. yes, I do have a power meter with it. Quarq CinQo if it matters or not. Thanks for checking into this.

I set the data recording method to Smart Recording and the upload works now. Though, the power data is not recorded on BT. Will this be incorporated soon?
