Subject: RE: Anyone using Windows Mobile-based phone?Had a Treo, have the blackjack now. It becomes less annoying as I expect less of it. To be fair, the main reason for this is that the jack for the sync cable stopped transferring data. It has happened on two different phones, so I am more inclined to blame it as a hardware flaw. Regardless, it limits my functionality. I do not interface with my computer. My only interface is with my work exchange server - which is limited to mail, to-do list, calendar, and contacts. (Luckily, I was able to sync the software before it broke. I had no problems with my Treo, and I loved my Treo's (had both Palm and Windows platform ). My advice is, unless you live in a 100% windows environment, where you use and rely on a lot of Microsoft apps and your employer only supports this platform. Otherwise, only consider it for the Treo in a competitive comparison of the other phones based on your needs. |
