run4yrlif - Iron Maiden's Run to the Hills. "Run to the hiiiiiills, run for your liiiiife!"

RedCorvette - Prince's Little Red Corvette. I know you told me it has nothing to do with the song but I can't help it.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

and of course my avatar has nothing to do with this.  she's just skippin along.....

When run4yrlif had his gold chain speedo guy avatar up, I kept thinking of "Tangerine Speedo"

When I see Comet's avatar, I think Mini Me, then I think Austin Power's theme song.

Jim Nabors was Gomer Pyle on TV in the 60's.  When he'd appear on variety shows, he'd usually sing some standard in his rich deep baritone.  It was quite a contrast from his portrayal of Gomer Pyle.  Impossible Dream was one of his hits.

Don't tell him that the show was in this weird format called "black and white". I'm feeling old enough, thank you.

Or that "Gomer" was a spin-off of the Andy Griffin Show (Mayberry), which also featured a very young Ron Howard (Opie), who went on to fame as star of Happy Days and a hugely successful producer.
