ChrisM dropped me an inspire: "Oh yeah, I see you hit 230. You are officially my rabbit. My goal is to catch you. Eating like a rabbit. "

I'll take that as a compliment.  Oh yeah, Chris, if you look, I did crack to 229.5 this week.

So, with that, if you have a rabbit, who is it?

Swimming:  everyone

Biking: This guy Curtis in my bike group.  He's 6'4", 24 years old and rides like the freaking WIND.  He's the only person in the group I can't drop / keep up with / let alone pass. I can't even keep him in sight.

Running: My friend Bob. Every race we run, he beats me anywhere from 1-3 minutes. I promise myself every time that I am going to stay with him even if it kills me, but there always comes...this point....where he just pulls ahead and I can't do it.  AAAARRRRGGG!

It is so good to have rabbits!

I don't have one!

My training goes something like this:

Tralalalala! What a beautiful day. Look at that butterfly! Ohhh pretty clouds. The water looks very blue today...

Mine too.  Which probably explains a lot about my racing style... which goes something like this:

Tralalalala!  Ohh.. this water is cold.  Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.... where the hell is my bike?  Oh yeah... not hard to find it when all the other bikes are gone... hee hee hee...

Laa laaalaaa Just keep spinning, just keep spinning... ohhh... flowers... is that an eagle?!  Where's the friggin' turnaround... did they make the course longer this year?  Who's that idiot following so closely in his car?!  Oh... the sweeper... Hi Mr. Volunteer Sweeper!

Dobedobedoooo... hey... people are going home and I'm still racing!  JERKS!  At least I have plenty of people to smile and wave to on the run out... so what if they're on their run back... what's that you said?  "I'm almost there?" Yeah, I totally fell for that one last time... I still got 3 miles to go you dork!  But thanks for volunteering anyway.  La la lalala pant pant lala pant...

I don't really have a rabbit.  Although sometimes I feel like a rabbit in the pool, but that's usually because someone faster than me got in and I feel like I'm being chased to the other side so I can get out of their way.

my bike rabbit is my roommate, who recently did a 12 hour race and biked 178 miles.

my run rabbit is my high school self, who was waaaay faster than i am now.  i need to catch her.
