Actually, if you watch closely, you can see that the feet are always making contact just slightly forward of the hip/shoulder and then they go through the foot pull on the ground and into a full extension of the leg behind them with a toe-off. It's pretty cool to see as this is exactly what people preach when they talk running form. I think it's pretty neat to see the same principles on display in nature's fastest creature. Beyond the technical analysis, it's just a beautiful piece of cinematography. Very cool, thank you! |
