I'm not a huge NBA fan anymore (pretty much gave that up after Jordon retired), but I have to say, I was looking forward to this year with the Lakers - plus since Vegas is basically in their viewing area, I get a lot of the games so I thought I would be up for following them this season.

I can honestly say, it has been a long time since I have been this let down and disappointed from what I was expecting.  Not only are they NOT the superstar team I expected, they are flat out terrible.

Letdown.  That's putting it nicely.  What. A. F*&(ing.  Joke they are this season.   I was worried this would be a repeat of the Malone/Payton fiasco, and was assured it wasn't.   They were right.  This is so much worse.

Almost bet a friend $100 who said they wouldn't make the playoffs.  Glad he didn't take it

This reminds me when they stacked the rockets with Barekly, Hakeem and Clyde the Glide...  That was bad, this is worse, much worse.

DO you guys get a Clipper feed?  That's the new showtime.  Those guys have really gelled and are fun to watch.  Many of them haven't had this kind of success before

If five of the 2-14 Chiefs can make the Pro Bowl then all of the Lakers have a chance at making the All star Team.

And yes I am surprised (I'm a Nuggets fan) that Howard hasn't helped them to the top of the Western Conference.

Not really.  DirecTV has FoxSportsWest for us.  So Lakers and Dodgers are who we "get" to see.

Not really.  DirecTV has FoxSportsWest for us.  So Lakers and Dodgers are who we "get" to see.

The crazy thing is that Chris Paul is the one true reason that the Clippers have emerged from simply "talent" to "contender."  And it was originally the Lakers that were supposed to get Paul.  Amazing how a commissioner veto has changed so much for both teams.

I bet Nash is really regretting choosing the Lakers over the Heat.  Nash would be DEADLY with that roster.  When Nash signed with LA...my first reaction was...hmmm.

OKC just got beat by the Lakers a couple days ago.  Just sayin.

And then lose to lowly 15-30 hornets.  MAN this team is frustrating
