Hurray! New Crushers challenge!

I think I may be overstretching myself this month but I'm aiming for 400km bike, 140km run, 9 swim sessions again and 15 x 10min continuous skipping sessions. Not sure where I will fit in my other non challenge traininb but I'll figure it out!

Goals... 

1. 600 minutes Strength Training (20 minutes a day)
2. 220 Minutes Jump Rope (basically 10 minutes a day 5 days a week)
3. 8500y swimming (Really need to get back in to Swimming so felt like I had to make this a goal)
4. Weight Loss: 5 lbs (Time to get serious about my weight loss!!)

Got 20 minutes of strength training in today and 10 minutes of jump roping.

I am still working on goals. November is BUSY for me

parents this weekend, hubby traveling the following week, certification for work, bday and 1/2 mary the following week and then thanksgiving with the following week traveling for me... Good lord and I have to fit training in?

I am thinking run (at least through mid-month before the 1/2), walking (if I can't run after the 1/2), maybe a few bikes (just to figure out what the thing is in the garage) and core (god I need it).  However, I really need to focus on the weight loss as well but hoping it will come with the above.

Hello returning and new CRUSHERS!

I've just started a new job so I will be taking it a little easier this month to account for that and the studying I need to do to get back up to speed on my own time.

1 - Complete 12 run sessions.
2 - Complete 8 strength training sessions.
3 - Have 12 cola free days. (Trying to quit the Coke problem.)
4 - Finish knitting scarf that I started last year. (Thanks for the idea Yanti!)

Aim high. Worry about it later. That's the whole point of a Challenge isn't it?

If you're worried about getting injured or you can see how you really screwed yourself with goals, you can adjust later. We take people at their word here. Especially you, of course.

I want in.  My goals:
1.  Run 50 miles this month.  (I know that others can run much farther but I've been mostly on the couch since September, so I'm starting slow.)
2.  Workout every day this month.
3.  8 bike workouts.
4.  10+ core workouts.

From a physical perspective, I think that's good.  From a life perspective, my primary focus (outside of family) will be to get my non-profit off the ground and get our initial round of events on the calendar.

Howdy, crushers!  Sorry I disappeared at the end of the month.  Life got crazy.  Anyhow, I'm back for another month of torture.  My goals are 70 miles running, 6 swim sessions, 6 bike sessions.

My goal for today is to eat, clean my house, eat some more, cook food to take to work for the next few days, eat, ride my bike, eat, and knit a hat.

I better get to work on that eatting thing. I'm way behind schedule already!

Hey CRUSHERS!   I did some strength work yesterday and a swim today.....going to PT tonight.....I am going to ask if I can include the bike in my goals this month......perhaps a modest number of sessions since each ride is a decision based on how I am doing......So far I will be swimming and doing strength training again for sure......

I really want to RUN again!!

Hi Crushers!!!  I'm sitting here on the couch with ear drops (again!) and waiting for the doc office to call about a nebulizer for my daughter.  I'm debating whether I should really have a swim goal if I can't get my ears to clear up.  I'm thinking I'm going to go with run, bike, strength/core and jump roping.  I just need to finalize the distances...

Yeah, if you are having issues withear infections you  probably need to stay out of the water at least 10 days to let them heal up.

Thank you Judi!  A good excuse to stay out the pool!! 

I swear, I actually LIKE swimming...  I just dread the hassle of getting to the pool and fighting for lanes...

So, I think I have my goals figured out...

150 miles biking, 30 miles running, 12 strength/core sessions and 100 minutes jump roping.

I am also worried I may be stretching myself too thin, but this is a bad month to slack off!  I have an exam for work this Friday, kids birthdays on the 20th and 25th and, of course, Thanksgiving.  Ack!
