I will accept your challenge!   I have an ambitious goal of 14000 meters.  My previous monthly high has been 7000 meters.  I plan to swim 3x a week minimum for the next two months so I need a big goal to get my behind in gear.

Okay folks, check your yardage and make sure it is correct. Keep in mind they are not wanting to start the show until Monday the 4th so if you need to adjust your yardage, let me know before Monday. Everyone should check in on everyone and inspire them throughout the month.

BeCivil - 21000 yards

tpeterson02 - 32000 yards

jenneunc – 22500 yards

UTTriman – 25000 yards

tkbslc – 14000 meters = 15310 yards

ellasdad – 14000 yards

NickInNC – 18000 yards

Okay, if we aren't starting until the 4th, that knocks out a 1000 yards or so for me.  Also, I just noticed my workout plan i have is in yards instead of meters, so change me to 13000 yards.

tpeterson02 - 32000 yards

jenneunc – 22500 yards

UTTriman – 25000 yards

tkbslc – 13000 yards

Dlaxman31 – 10000 meters = 10936 yards

Wakeman – 25000 yards

This weekend would be a good weekend to get a little ahead if you think you might need it. Remember to check your pool hours for the holidays and it is always good to put in that extra 100 each swim b/c you do not know what might happen. Everything swimming oriented counts (kicking, swimming, backstroke, flippers, etc.) as long as you are doing laps. Hopefully everyone will have a good month and become better at some aspect of swimming. I would like to get a PM from each of you every Sunday with your yardage for that week. The first week being 12/1-12/10. Everyone should inspire each other and get to know them. Who knows maybe we will have secret Santas before it's over. Also, keep in mind that not everyone is from NC; it would be a great opportunity to meet some one that you might get to see at a race in the future that might not be in NC. Let's Get It On!!!!

LONG way from North Carolina here, Live in the Salt Lake City area.  Thanks to BeCivil for recruiting me to become a "Curmudgeon" for this challenge!   I don't like being on losing teams, so EVERYONE -- MAKE YOUR GOALS!    We'll all be better in the long run!

Just completed my first season of 10 races.  Looking forward to next season!

Good Luck everyone!

I am in Fayetteville, NC. I did my first triathlon in Sept (the Angels Race Triathlon in Clemmons). I am training for a marathon right now, but trying to keep up with my swimming and some biking at the same time. Swimming is my weakest sport (I am very slow - but am working on it). I am hoping to do several triathlons in 2007.

I'm out in the Salt Lake City area like UTTriman.   I just finished my first 2 races in Oct and Nov and I need a LOT of help on the swim.   Hope to have a great season in 2007!
