Taking COJ suggestions for my free evening...

Champion  4942     Richmond, VA |  Subject: Taking COJ suggestions for my free evening...The nest is empty tonight, wife and condorkids going out of town (family thing) and returning tomorrow evening. I have my first "free" evening in a very long time. I'm not used to freedom. Any suggestions for things to do? My list of options are: (1) Long trainer ride in the basement; (2) Finish painting the trim on the 2nd floor landing; (3) Get take out, curl up with the puppy dog and watch "300" on DVD; or (4) Begin reading the Alan Greenspan Autobiography that's been collecting dust on my bookshelf.
any suggestions?

I vote for #3 - take-out, dog and movies are a nice Friday evening. (But get "healthy" take-out; I do the food/snuggle-dog/movie thing on occasion and I just get sushi from Whole Foods...yum) Edited by wurkit_gurl 2008-05-02 3:45 PM |

Maybe go for a long run and then come home, plop in the tub with 7 lbs of ice for a while and then eat anything and everything in the house guilt free Well, that is what I would do in your situation anyway. Oh, I tried hard to watch 300 on the trainer and it just did not work for me. |

Lara - 2008-05-02 5:07 PM This became a family tradition, anytime my dad had an alone night or a night with just us kids it was Pizza, Beer and a bad movie.. Even when we were around he would pick up pizza, beer for him, root beer for us and a PG-13 or R movie that he didn't have a problem with but mom would of never approved.. I don't want to know what he watched when us kids wern't around... So I'm for the Pizza, Beer and Porn night not a bad idea, eveyone is invited. I'll make a grilled chicken and red onion pizza, we can have some diet Mug Root Beer and what is this "porn" thing people keep talking about?
