New user 4 Alexandria, Louisiana |  Subject: Determined new "tri-er"Hey Everyone! My name is Debi and I'm a 44 year old mother of two college students and wife of 23 years. My goal is to do my first triathlon by my 45th birthday (9/22/05). My husband had a heart attack and had 5 bypasses done a year ago. Since that time alot has changed in our lifestyles, one thing has been our fitness goals. I also have a dear friend named Michael Pate who is an inspiration to me to do what I can only dream. He turned me on to the sport and this website so I'm logging and browsing and hopefully many of you will be able to help me along as I plan on encouraging you! Keep up the good work and hang in there. You will have a great support group locally thru the Red River Tri Club and you will find great support online here. I don't know if Michael has told you but we have a BTanonymous affiliation for all of us who not only cannot stay away from this site for a day, but log on multiple times in the day!! So be careful.
