Goddesses Chicks, that sound you hear, red-shifting in pitch, is the sound of the T.B.I. peloton, far, far ahead of you.

You might as well quit while you're behind. Get your hair and nails done, waxed, etc. because we're going to need some serious pampering when this is all said and done on July 1. Cool

Careful how you say "wax", they might change the terms to "Brazilian wax" and use that as motivation to complete their miles.

I don't think guys would be able to live through a procedure such as that.

You're going to need some Pampers?

Based on this thread I have named my bike MJOLNER

That's the hammer of Thor, God of Thunder.

1. Despite Hammering being bad, I still do it.
2. It's a Trek 1200 so it weighs a lot. In Norse myth only Thor could lift his hammer.
3. He's the God of Storms and Lightning is Fast.
4. I just like saying Mjolner (Myol-ner is how you say it).

When I was dying on my long ride in 100 degree heat I talked to Mjolner some and it helped me out. Now I'm glad I named the bike except for the voices....the voices

How does Mjolner feel about the go-go boots?  Can you even get the cleats on the bottom of those things?  I suppose you COULD screw them into the plexiglass...

Hey, the boots make me GO-GO. So he doesn't mind.

BTW. What happened to Rene and Kim? They haven't tried to insult me for a week or so.

I don't think guys can handle any waxing procedure, especially a Brazillian.

Hey... I took out my OWN surgical staples several years, including many in the vicinity of The Package... so I can handle a little bit of pain. But we aren't the ones getting waxed, you are.

I'm not (that) impressed by you removing your own staples.  I've taken out my own stitches several times.  As far as waxing goes, I get my eyebrows waxed.  I've seen guys get it done and they start crying.  I do not.  I think women have a much higher tolerance for pain than guys do.

I've seen my (beautiful) wife deliver 3 (beautiful) children ... I KNOW she has a higher tolerance for pain than I!!!  That said, child birth is a cool thing.

Brazilian wax?  Not so much ... but in this bike challenge, it is probably a preferable ending to the waxing the girls are taking - cause the lack of cycling is not going to help much with the bathing suit thing.

After today's comute I'll have 200 miles down and only 50 left before I reach my goal. So when are the Goddesses losers going to start the inspires and how are people being paired up?

I just took a look at the TBI rollcall, and unless you guys are planning a mass century this weekend, it's not looking good for you all.

I think out of kindness, I'll be sending you all a phone card, cause one week from tomorrow, you're all gonna need to call your mamas.

Today's "Word of the Day":

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

You better hope the GOG plan on doing a double century this weekend. As it stands after three weeks: TBI 59% GOG 52%

Check out Russ-   He looks VERY scared next to me.   Allmost like he's thinking, "Oh my gosh, I can't believe I am going to have to kiss her a@# and inspire her with never ending sweet nothings.  I guess I don't have a choice since I haven't been riding my bike and never has my team since we're slackers!"  He,he.

Oh, honey, do you need to go back to Math? Difference between 59 adn 52 isn't all that much, and is, most definitely, something Goddess can overcome. Don't you know I just got a pedi to make sure my feet were in tip top shape for a weekend full of rides?

Besides, we like a good rally.

There's a strategy to this competition ya know.  Have you ever heard of a team "making a come back?"  Yeah- well we're one of  those teams!
