Havana used to be famous for having all of these vintage 50's and 60's era American cars, but those are mostly just taxis for tourists now. Most people who drive have newer cars.
There are already a few Canadian and European hotel chains, and I read today that Starwood resorts is the first US-based chain to enter into a deal to open hotels in Havana. I'm sure others will follow.
He said that wi-fi is much more widely available, especially in hotels and other more modern facilities. The last time he was there, it was only cable-based Internet.
One interesting thing was that he said that the hotels are pretty expensive, which was a surprise. Food is still very inexpensive, but the hotel rates have definitely gone up significantly.
