Wigwam Triathlete--best cushioning, can't feel seams, no blisters, last a long time, not too expensive

Balega hands down!  I have never used a sock this cusiony (technical term) and seamless.  I have 30 other pairs of socks but still pretty much only rotate through my 6 pairs of Balega.

x2 on Balega. I switch between the thin and the thicker versions. No issues with seams... I've already worn out a couple pair.

I found out about Injinji toe socks through one of these polls.  I love them!  I haven't gotten a blister between my toes since I started using them.

Jack and Adam's in Austin, TX sells DeFeet SpeeDe Socks with their logo on them. I own like 6 pairs. I may have a problem.

Wrightsock Double Layer COOLMESH when I wear socks for training.  I used to waer a poly liner but these are great and have held up very well too.  No socks last year at Sprint and Oly distance races.

Just started wearing SmartWools and love em!  Never any chafing, not hot/cold, and they stay dry when running in the snow.  Only need one pair whereas I had been wearing 2 pairs of man-made fabric sox in the cold.  Like the 3/4 crew too cuz it covers the little gap btwn my ankles and tights.

Smartwool hands down!  There are 3 reasons:

1. Great year round sock since the wool keeps your foot cool in the summer and warm and dry in the winter.  Oh yeah, don't think these are scratchy wool socks - they look and feel like cotton and are lightweight.

2. They resist stains and odor.  I do most of my running on trails, so my feet get DIRTY!  These socks wash well - you can put them in the dryer, and they look brand new - even after a year.

3.  Durability.  These last forever.  I have a few pairs that are 2 years old and only are starting to wear.  You may pay a bit more for them, but in the long run they last way past any of the coolmax socks out there.  Good value for your buck!

I started riding in sock guy socks when one of the cycling teams I was on used them. And have used them ever since. I am a heavy sweater, and these socks keep it off my feet really well!

Balega here too but only for dry and warm weather. I discovered wool for cold, wet runs today! (I know, it took me some time, but we just don't get real wet weather here that often...) Wow, what a difference. Patagonia Mid Weight Hiker socks are 60% wool and kept my wet toes warm.
