Veteran  199   Abbotsford |  Subject: IMC 2009I was looking at another thread and I saw that the IM's sell out quick. So I thought I would check out next years IMC and If I read it right it says it's sold out. I also read that you can only reg. in person? If that's the case I need to start thinking about 2010 IMC. Man that's a long time from now. |

Master 1748  Port Moody, BC | Subject: RE: IMC 2009 IM Canada 2009 is sold out, it was full via on-line registration in 2.5 minutes according to those that were fortunate enough to grab a last minute spot. Volunteering for 2009 is a great way to 1) see how things work in IM Canada and 2) get you some great karma for the next year's race. 3) Get's you a spot in line on the Monday after the race ahead of the regular registrants. There is also the last option of qualifying for a Ironman Canada spot through other races that are given entry slots (they will be other IM's and 70.3 races) |

Master 1748 Port Moody, BC | Subject: RE: IMC 2009 Registration starts at 0900 on Monday morning ON SITE. This year there were a few spots available for on line registration. The 09 IMC was officially sold out 4 minutes after the on line spots were made available. I think this year was the first time in many years that the race did not sell out on the Monday sign up. The only way to get into IMC 09 now is to win a qualifing spot through another race (Oliver, Oosoyoos) usually a half iron. |

Elite 3290 Oliver, BC, "Wine Capital of Canada" | Subject: RE: IMC 2009 You would probably need to do 5:30 or better. Last year they allowed two spots to your AG with the 1st person doing a 5:18 and second 5:22. There is also roll down if the spots are turned down. |
