Ok, now is the time to prove how much you trust us at BT. Let's see if you can reveal the most embarrasing guilty pleasure. ONE of mine...... Watching "The OC." It's such a cheesy show but I'm addicted to it. I even sing the theme song. "California here I come, right back where we started from. Californiaaaa."" Gotta go OC is on!

Okay, I give up....what is an "OC"? My guilty pleasure is that can never resist buying a date square when I buy coffee from one particular coffee shop at work. I do not like pastries or other such "goodies", but those darned date squares are too darned alluring, not to mention tasty, to resist! :-(

Cherry Garcia Icecream.

It's definitely a pleasure, but whenever I have any, it's hard to not feel guilty.

Is it still a guilty pleasure if I can try while doing it. I tried to get my bike trainer out for Average Joe and Celebrity Mole. Both are over now, but I will always have my days of our lives. I don't get to watch it everyday, but I only have to watch 20 minutes a week, and I know what is going on.

Showing my age, but I don't even know what you mean when you say shooting a beer through a glycogen window? Some mysterious collegiate language. Interpret!!

GOOD LORD NO - your glycogen window is a period of time about 15-20 minutes after you finish a workout. You're supposed to eat a bunch of carbs (assuming you're not on the Atkins diet) during this time because it's when your body is best able to replenish it's depleated glycogen stores. It just means that your matabolism is different for a little while after you finish working out, and in order to recover as quickly and as fully as possible it's important to give your body the supplies it needs to do so.

I just meant it's nice to have a beer right after I get back from a ride thanks to the 'glycogen window'. It makes one beer feel like three - cheeper for us starving students, knowwhatimean?
