Vision correction surgery recommendations

I went with Lasik Plus because they give a lifetime waranty.  They are on ray and the 101.

My wife had ICL with Barnett, Perkins...  It is a little better than Lasik in general, but a lot better if your eyes are too far gone for lasik like hers were.

Its your eyes you only have one set.  I have terrible vision, no option for me yet.  Make sure you are seen by an Ophthalmologist not an Optometrist.  I would get your chart from the Dr. that said you had a corneal condition and see a corneal specialist.  I just moved here so not sure on who to see and Im sure you have seen good docs so far.  But if I would look into it more, like I said you only get one set of eyes.  If you need a recommendation for a corneal specialist I could probably get you one.  Good luck with everything and its awesome that you wont have to wear contacts or glasses sometime in the near future!

I had Lasik in 2005 at Schwartz. Paid a little more because I was extremely nearsighted. I had a consultation with Barnett but went with Schwartz...I thought if Amare can have it done there, so could I, LOL..Seriously, I had 2 friends who had used Schwartz and were pleased. I really don't have a reference for you, just thought I'd chime in. Good luck, I will say it's the best money I every spent.

The process is exactly like the used carsales routine that was the only downside to getting our eyes done.  And yes Barnett, Perkins... were probably the most car dealer esque, but they are the best (if not only) place for ICL and my wife asked for a discount at her "consult" and they gave her a few hundred off (after checking with the sales manager just like the car gus) so you can hagle with them.  Very different from the usual doctor's office exchange.
