When you ask your friends at every group run "did you read that on BT?!"...

When you log on to BT as soon as you get to work to read what you missed after you left work the previous day.

When you get to work and prioritize projects based on how quickly they will allow you to log on.

When you realize "what's a metric century" is a perfectly logical valid question.

When a car passes you on the highway with 3 road bikes attached to the back and you note the colors (did that one yesterday afternoon - one red, one blue, one yellow - everybody's happy).

When you know the best way to set up a transition area, but your office desk is a mess.

When you feel you have to apologize for entering a duathlon.

When you must go get a burrito for lunch because we can't go a week without talking about them online!

(No Chipotle here, Qdoba is like it tho, and just as awesome).

When your parents come to watch you race and ask how you met all your triathlon friends and you have to explain that you actually met them on the internet

I just went to Denver in March for some training (HR monitors in the pool) and all I ate for 3 days was Qdoba.....so good. I'd buy two at dinner so I would have one for breakfast. Glad I do not live close to Qdoba........no problem about burrito overdose in the deep south.

LMAO....what a great thread, thanx lara for having the courage to be the first!!

Laughing with all of you , not at you. I sssoooo identify with each of you entries. Especially 'stacers' comment about 'bt friends' . I often catch myself talking about this or that 'tri' thing that was talked about or accomplished by a 'friend' and then trying to explain that the 'friend' lives in california, alabama, washington, and most interesting is the looks from 'australia', 'cananda' or some other far off place....and then the ...oooohhh......umm...I only know these 'friends' from the internet. LOL. Followed by the instantly defensive...''well, I DO, really, have 'real' friends here in town, yada, yada...."

When you tell your training partner tips you learned here and then warn your training partner not to lurk here because you gossip about him : )

When you worry about all the bad things you say about your job and hope all the poeple you've told to join BT haven't because then they'll figure out who "Line" REALLY is...

When you have lots of "friends" that do triathlons, even though you've never actually met any.
