Subject: RE: shoe replacement mileage?got about 400 on my last pair (the first pair I tracked mileage for ) and at 400, did a run and my knees hurt after, so swapped in a new pair. I put 500 on those without issue, but just started with a replacement. Now I notice they feel a little better, but it's not like I'll hurt myself on the old ones, just probably wouldn't run long or fast in them. Makes me think I pulled my last pair a little prematurely (so my knees were achey from running not from the shoes ). FWIW, I've been running on Nike's Lunar series (first were Run Avants, then LunarGlide and LunarGlide 2 ) and have been between 150 and 160. I'd say, have a new pair ready, and when you feel like the old ones may be going bad, swap the new ones in for a run. No difference - keep running the old. Big difference - stay on the new. Slight difference/can't tell - use your gut. Edited by jsiegs 2010-10-12 1:45 PM
