Subject: RE: Giving Blood and TrainingDuring the off-season I try to donate every 8 weeks. Usually I donate in the evenings after work, so working out that day isn't an issue. I do usually work out the next morning, and have found it really doesn't affect me other than my pace is slower than usual. This occurs for about 4-6 days, then it's back to normal. Maybe since I'm such a frequent donor, my body adapts relatively quickly. I don't know, I'm not a doctor and don't play one on TV I wouldn't plan on doing anything that day, except make sure you take in lots of fluid after donation. You shouldn't have a problem the next day, just take it easy. Chris |
