Subject: RE: Great Job Rotors and Kerri!!!Thanks, everyone! This was one of my most enjoyable races ever, and I would NOT call it a super-fast course. It was Seattle - rolling hills throughout and a huge-freakin' freeway overpass (that was an absolute blast to run down, but the entrance was a real pain! ). While Map My Run shows only 300 feet of climb along the course, Dean's GPS showed about 2200 feet of total climb, and somewhere between is the real answer (I think MMR can't take rolling hills into account, just differences between each heights at each quarter mile, which provides deceiving results ). But the weather was near perfect, I enjoyed BT comraderie, and the volunteer support was awesome. I don't have my race report up yet, but posted the mile splits on my log, and I'm really happy with running a solid race. I know the triathlon training I've done since my last half mary has helped me improve in so many ways, and that's what I credit for the PR. I would definitely do Seattle RNR again next year -- maybe even the full! |
