I'm trying to find cycling races/events (charity or not) during September or October in Southern Ontario.  Does anyone know of any?  I just don't want the cycle season to end!

Here is one I had been considering for some time:
http://www.centurioncycling.com/canada/

Different distances from 160km down to 40km I think. Should be challenging climbs in the Collingwood area, and lots of competitors!

I sadly have decided to train for my first marathon instead (Goodlife Marathon in Oct.), so no centurion for me

I would have liked to do the Milton ride but I am working.  Looking for a ride later September or October.  Thanks for offering the info.

Hi Tristar - I'm planning on doing the Oct. 3rd  "Kawartharube-EH?" ride on my CX bike... If I can shake this flu by then...

Anyone know of any cycling events in mid to later October or early November?  It seems that I have or will miss the ones mentioned on the site.  Just don't want to put the bike away.

There were a couple of rides this weekend that you would have enjoyed - Kiwanas Cribbage Ride in Picton and one in Guelph as well -   sorry I didn't mention it earlier.  Pretty much all the events are on the weekends.   Alot of the cycle shops have weekly group rides throughout the fall if you don't want to ride alone.   Don't put the bike away just because there are no organized rides - lots of good days yet.    The roads gets pretty dirty though with all the farm equipment on them at this time of year - you may want to bring out an old beater bike instead.

I'm looking at this - Oct 2, 2012 - Angus Glen Harvest Ride, limited to 100 riders, 50km / 100km, Unionville to Lake Simcoe, almost in my backyard - http://www.angusglenharvestride.com/

Weather later in Oct / early Nov is very unpredicatable, but too windy for me in general.
