Congratulations on your engagement!!!  That's so exciting.  Clearly, I also missed the thread where you said this before.

Great pictures, too.  Ireland and Scotland are two of the places I'd most like to travel to.

Great Pictures - my wife's from Newtownards, so I've been to all the NI locations.  Love the cannon!  Seeing pics like that always makes me miss living there.

We also used to live in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, so it was nice to see the Glasgow pics as well (our nephew is now at Glasgow Uni).

Seeing Ireland makes me want to cry.  My father's family is all from there.  I studied at UC Galway (now NUI-Galway) for a summer and I've been back once since.  There is no place on this earth more beautiful than there.  My parents are going back again soon to look for a place to live!  one day I'll be back...one day!

It was funny - based on your location I thought you were from NI, then I had a look at your races and noticed they were all around here!

I'm in the South Hills.  Grew up in Mt Lebanon, and now live in Upper St Clair.  I work out by the airport.

Our nephew is in his first year doing Architecture - and definitely living it up!Cool

By the way - do you recognize who my avatar is?

I lived in the West End all my life, and I taught swim lessons through the South Hills YMCA. My parents just moved to McKees Rocks last year.

And Sophie Masloff (sp?) was awesome. I was just a kid when she was mayor, but I DEFINITELY remember "SCRATCH MY BACK WITH A HACKSAW!"

Another PIttsburgher here...I work in the ER in your community willie...don't get hurt or I'll have to give you a lecture!

As for the photos, the "Tides have turned" photo is really funny. But what made it funny was the photo sequence and the captions!
