hollow man tat?

I know some people get them as a reminder of why they are training or to keep them focused. For me, I think it is something earned. Again, your body yada, yada.

I have mine on my shoulder. I rarely take my shirt off except to race or swim. When someone who knows what it means see it, the first thing they say is "Your an Ironman? "What race did you do? I wouldn't want to say "Well, I haven't done one yet, but I will, someday" I would feel like a poser.

I was going to do the outline first then fill in. However, I was going to do the outline after my first iron, then fill in with a texas flag when I did an iron in Texas (there's only one small race). I didn't know when I would actually get to do the race I wanted so I opted not to.

Its your body, do what you want, but I rode next to a guy doing the same full iron as me. He said it was his first iron. He had an ironman tattoo. He had completed one 1/2 iron. I was so confused.

If I was going to get a tatoo to commemorate a Kevin Bacon movie, it would definitely be Footloose.

Wasn't Kevin Bacon the Invisible Man? You could get a tat with invisible ink. That'd be cool thing to show off when you're doing some sweet jumps. 

While he was surpurb in Footloose, his dramatic genius really explodes in Tremors.
