Comments: Felt good enough after the 10K that I thought I had a shot at sub-20 on a downhill course. Too slow in mile 2 to pull that off, however. Did manage to win my age group in both races, though. What would you do differently?: Nothing...I went hard in both races and held up well. Post race
Warm down: Short jog through expo area. Found results online: Top 30 overall and 1st in AG in both races. 2nd overall of 55 finishers in the 15K Challenge...only person ahead of me is 24 years old. He and I were only finishers to average sub-7:00/mile for the full 15K. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just that the 5K was my second race of the day. First time I've ever attempted that. Event comments: The Great Race of Agoura Hills is a multi-race event with two half marathons (one was cancelled due to flash flood damage on the trail course), 10K, 5K, two family 1 mile runs. Big expo, pancake breakfast, challenging courses. Top drawer event. Last updated: 2018-03-20 12:00 AM

Overall Rank = 28/1339

Age Group Rank = 1/47
Second leg of "15K Challenge," following 10K by 50 minutes.
After 10K finish, I hydrated, jogged up hill to the 5K starting area, used the portapotty, lined up at the front for my second race of the day.
