and you might as well hold the top 3 places for Team CSC. The Bald Eagle has turned those boys into a lean, mean, climbing machine!

Oh, and some USA team has some genetic freak going over the pond too.

Please,  Basso might get into the top three again (and I hope he does) but do you honestly think any team can sweep the podium?  Most likely another repeat with Discovery, Telekom and CSC.

Got this off of some betting web site.  Already forgot name.  Googled a couple dozen places.

Go Lance, I think the biggest thing is to avoid any crashes or injuries (duh!) and if Team Discovery continues it's BLUE TRAIN tradition  should be #7.

ODDS TO WIN 2005 TOUR DE FRANCE

Denis Menchov +6600
Alberto Contador +6600
Damiano Cunego +5000
Yaroslav Popovych +4000
Floyd Landis +4000
Roberto Heras +3300
Levi Leipheimer +3300
Santiago Botero +2500
Iban Mayo +2500
Andreas Kloden +2000
Alexander Vinokourov +1000
Ivan Basso +600
Jan Ullrich +250
Lance Armstrong -140

Just bought the commerotive edition of Sports Illustrated Lance Armstrong .   Shows him at age 17 in Tri gear (speedo swim briefs).

I have already called in sick to work for the first ten days of the TdeF. Can't wait. Discovery has a good team. My favorite team for the last three years has been CSC. However, I'm a huge Floyd Landis fan. It looks to me like Ulrich is in better shape than Lance. While there is little doubt Discovery will win the TTT, I don't see Lance getting as much help up the Pyrenees this year. I'm glad to see more American riders this year. I think it will come down to the final ITT. I always bet on Damiano Cunego, and he always lets me down, but I have to go with him as the darkhorse.

Oh goody goody gumdrops!  The Tour is here, the Tour is here!  I will have to get myself some extra video tapes to tape the whole thing.

Ulrich looks strong this year but I'm betting Lance is stronger and will take his 7th Tour win!

GO LANCE!!!!!!!!!

I want to see Floyd do well, I hope for a podium for him, and I hope to see Jan on the Podium too.

If Lance can't do it this year, I want it to be Jan....He is due!

No I really am that dumb. all 9 CSC riders will take the top 9 after the following happens: the rest of every team will abandon the race due to an omen of chickens running up Alp d' Huez. A plauge of mono will break out from the podium girls that infected Cuengo, which Greg Lemond will call doping and begin to make excuses that he had mono when he lost some race he should have won. Lance will be caught using a micro motor in his rear derailuer, Ekimov will leap from the bushes and pace fellow russian Yaroslav Popovych in a cold war-esque coup of Lance Armstrong (now disgraced from his micro motor discovery.) Robbie will lead a rebellion of Aussies that will refuse to sprint, due to work conditions, and invade every pub in France and insist the francophones have no idea how to pour an ale. The tour will be won by CSC taking all 9 remaining positions, but only after being put into a 'spot of bother' by a roaming band of 9 year old football hooligans on BMX bikes.

That's what I really think.

9 days left. Cuengo is out, CSC doesn't know if its Piil (injuries) or Roberts (track star) will take its 9th spot and no one has been kicked out for doping.

In related news, my 404's will be here today. I can't wait for the UPS guy!
