Let me see. I grew up with CCR. My parents favorite group of all time is CCR. They played it all the time in the house when I was growing up. We were not allowed to say anything bad about CCR. I think it is a safe bet CCR it is for me.
I guess I'm really in the musical minority for BT. I voted for the Stones on the other poll and CSN on this one. I like CCR, but love CSN.
This. I'm more of a lyricist and like songs with meaning and message. Somehow "Teach your children" is a far better experience than "Bad Moon on the Rise".
CSN. Probably seen them 6-8 times, once with Neil Young. I agree with whoever said they didn't age well, they have put on some of the very best live shows I've ever seen, but the last two were mediocre at best. The one with Neil was incredible, the guy can play!

To this day I'm convinced that the entire Vietnam War was fought with "Fortunate One" and "Paint it Black" blaring over loudspeakers on an endless repeat.

Are you sure it wasn't Country Joe and the Fish? And it's 1,2,3 what are we fighting for?
Band I was in did a Born on the Bayou - Green River - Born on the Bayou type of medley. Have to go with CCR on this one. I sure did listen to Deja Vu through my headphones alot as a teenager though.
