Master 6834 Englewood, Florida | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Mad Manatees PART 3: FULL POD I'm back from my morning run. I'll upload some pics later, but now I have yard work calling me. Enjoy the day everyone! Jen, I like the looks of your run, great job! OK, I have a quandary. I am getting cash and gift cards for my B-Day. So, I MUST buy gear, no? I have two pair of Saucony shoes that I am using and a third pair that I need to get rid of, so shoes will probably be it for me. I have done more trail running of late, and am going to trail run in Alaska while we are there, so Salomon XR's are on the list. However, how can you say no to the unabashed beauty of the Tri-Noosa? I currently have a bit of stability going on (in my shoes, not in me). But I also have a neutral pair of shoes that I use as well and they have been fine for me as well. So, I am open to all suggestions. I'll consider anything, so bring up whatever you like. Thanks! Edited by cdban66 2012-06-30 10:20 AM |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Mad Manatees PART 3: FULL POD Thanks!! It was tough at the end, but it worked out. I did intervals on the treadmill: :15, :30, :45, 1:00, 1:15, 1:30, 1:45, and 2:00 at 6 mph (WAY faster than I normally run) with 2:00 walking in between. I'd planned to watch the TdF at the gym, but the cable was out. Here is the view from the window at the gym. Since it's so insanely hot, I'm trying to think cool and post a picture from a snow day.

You will make it through--you always do--and I hope something better comes of it to make the tight times worthwhile. You could always just be yourself and act like a monkey on the run tomorrow. Master 6595 Rio Rancho, NM | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Mad Manatees PART 3: FULL POD Allen, prayers are with you and Mrs. Froggy/monkey. It's stressful when the finances change unexpectedly. Well I had a great ride today. Did the 2x8 miles hard like I was supposed to. The first one went a little long though because just as I was nearing the time to ease up I got passed by an M-dot tattoo on a rather muscular calf. Well I couldn't let him see me ease up now could I? We were approaching my turn around point and I assumed correctly that it was his as well. So I kept pushing until he passed me going the other way, then I eased up. I guess you could call that pace booty huh? Then I discovered the glory of CHOCOLTE WAFFLES!!!! My fave was the honey ones but when I tasted the chocolate I think I heard angels sing... |
