Anyone have one? Tri specific?

Was just playing around on the PennDOT website and you can check and see what's available. Was thinking about SBR4TRI. TRI2SBR also sounded cool.

Ideas?

I don't have one, but I have seen a vanity plate around here that has "Ironman" or something similar to that.

We've got vanity plates on all our vehicles.  The main reason is because the standard Nebraska plates are hideous so we get the Husker plates which look a lot better.

None of ours are Tri specific.  Mine is my company name, my wife has RVING on the minivan and our RV has WHR2NXT on it.

My minivan has MONKEZ5 on it.  When our boys were little they were constantly swinging off of trees, jumping off of beds, etc. so that is where monkez is from and the number 5 is because I have 5 boys (because I include the husband)!

I managed to inherit "HASHER" here in Texas...never giving it up until I'm not a resident anymore!  This plate is on my Honda.

I wanted to put one on my truck too, but since I got the HASHER plate they have changed the system.  My HASHER plate is grandfathered under the old system so it's only an extra $40/yr to have the vanity plate.  New vanity plates are either $300 for one year or $800 for ten years...that a LUDICROUS amount of money to pay for a vanity plate.  I could ALMOST be convinced to go for the ten year one, HOWEVER, I won't be a TX resident for that long (I have less than 9 years left in the military) and I know I won't have two cars the entire time either and whichever car I have longer is going to get the HASHER plate.

Makes me sad.  At $40/yr I would have put something on the truck just for fun for a few years until I retire the Honda, but not at $300/yr.  I hope Texas realizes how stupid an idea it was to switch systems.  I don't see too many people forking over that much money for a vanity plate.

Oh, and if I'd gotten the one on the truck it would have been HASHER2. :D  But something tri specific might have been cool too.

Wow $300? That's absurd. It's $20 in PA.

lol, I doubt I could get away with that one in NE.  You have to get through the PC police and I'd have to come up with a pretty good story to get it approved.

On a totally unrelated thought I just remembered that I had a good friend who wanted to be in the FBI so bad that he had FBI posters up in his room and talked about it all the time.  He was so bad that everyone called him JefFBI (name was jeff).

Well, he liked it so much that he got a vanity plate with JEFFBI on it.  Unfortunately it resulted in him getting hit on by a lot of gentlemen and didn't quite have the effect he was looking for.

Double your chances, double your fun....

I'm sure someone making that license plate had a good laugh.
