BTW, did the B1G get better or worse with the addition of Rutgers and Maryland??????????  Rutgers just lost to an abysmal VT team and Maryland didn't even make it in to a bowl.  They aren't doing much to help their case.

I was rooting for you guys yesterday! What happened to your secondary? Did they just go home at halftime? Michigan really bombed as well. If they could've just grabbed a hold of the QB on the last drive they might've held on.

Husker defense has been horrible all year.  I'd even go so far to say this is probably the worse defense I've ever seen on a NE team.  Their passing numbers may have been ok, but it was because of several games where people were running 500 yards a game on us.  Who needs to pass.

Our offense was actually halfway decent this year, even with all the turnovers and penalties.

Back in 2009 we had a National Championship caliber defense anchored by Suh, but the offense was High School level at best.  Now we've got an above average to good offense, with a defense that's high school level at best.  Oh well, I'm sure we're not the only team with these problems.  lol

If it makes you feel any better, Texas had the WORST defense in the history of the school this year.  There has NEVER been a worse D than what we had this year.  HOWEVER..............  I feel confident we can get worse with the proper motivation.

It was great to see them take the lead into halftime, but then it all fell apart.  It's good to see Martinez make such a huge improvement from last year to this one, someone must have REALLY worked on throwing mechanics with him cuz he had one of the worst I've ever seen.  I'm sad Sexy Rexy isn't going to be around next year, but thankfully Abdullah is there to pick up some of the slack if he would just stop fumbling the ball. 

They REALLY need help on defense though.  Giving up a bowl record number of yards?  That's not really going to win you many games. 

Yup, I hope to god the new AD forces him to get a real coach on D.

There was a lady in the airport with a Mich State Big 10 Champions t-shirt and I cringed. I mean Ohio State and Penn State were both on probation so can you really say you're the champ?

I will say this, if Ohio State got to play in a Bowl Game, they'd have to stick to non-SEC teams. Their record against SEC opponents in bowls kinda sucks...
