If you were stranded....

Well food... but if it was not a life ending choice, well I cannot choose.

tri gear is good, but I love my dog and my husband might have something to say if I chose a wetsuit over him.

LOL....As to food, well, we know you won't be choosing a burrito! Poor burrito.





Anyway, this is the kind of thread that really gets going say on a Wed. when everyone is at work and starting to get restless. Off to drink wine now --- not too much --- got a cycle/swim brick in the am.

Food? Fresh fruit
Music? Bluegrass
Lover? Isn't being stranded punishment enough?
Pet? Anything edible
Tool? Leatherman
Tri gear? Tri shorts

I'm too practical, I guess:

Food: one only kind of food, it would have to be beans just because I want to keep living -- probably edamame since they're so yummy anyway

Music: Hrmmm... If you mean what album or collection, I'd have to go with Sgt Peppers by The Beatles only because I never seem to bore of it, there's always something interesting to hear.

Lover: duh... my currently BF

Pet: You mean I can only bring one? It would have to be my cat Bob. He's the smartest cat ever. My other cat, Little Girl, well, I'd feel a bit guilty about leaving her, but she used to be wild so I know she could take care of herself.

Tool: Crap, I don't know. I suppose a Leatherman.

Tri gear: 1st choice would be a sports bra. I bet I could live a long life with the rest of them or making do... but support is something I don't take for granted. Sunglasses would be nice too.

What else? Books and magazines? Can I bring my computer and internet access? What about wine? My camelbak?

OK so I posted after a glass of wine and missed the point!

Food: I have a hard time with this. I like variety. Vegetables and that's as close as you will get me.
Music: my iPod... again I cannot pick
Lover: Husband. Hands down. Still does it for me after 12 years and adores me too.
Pet: Mani-Nana my Husky. I love the cat but he and I are not sympatico
Tool: Duct Tape
Tri-Gear: Need shoes AND a bike. I can swim nude.

Good question, but I'm going to go ahead and make the assumption that we are stranded on an island alone or something like that.

Food: Is the Island closer ot Itally or Mexico? It'd be eiter Pizza or Burrittos. Just not Chipolte,.
Music: Anything but Country.
Lover: Any good looking woman with nice calfs.
Pet: A dog who will listen obey and play.
Tool: Leathrman is an excellent answer,
Tri Gear: Bike

What else? If we were not stranded on an island alone and just stranded it would be currency. Other than thatprobably shoes.

Food? Domolise's roast beef po-boy.
Music? My dell DJ 20
Lover? My BEAUTIFUL redheaded GF.
Pet? Her choc lab, Bubba. Gotta love the bubbadog!
Tool? toss up between duct tape and dental floss.
Tri gear? Shoes and bike.

What else? Maybe once in a while, airdrop in a CC's Grande Iced Mocha with extra choc and espresso!

Food- he is great to munch on (hhuahumm)

Tri Gear- he lookes great in jammers

Duct tape? Sorry - I can't let you make that mistake. The adhesive dries out when it stays on too long (and renders it useless), but if it gets hots, it turns into a gooey sticky mess. If tape is what you are after - I can't argue the need - there's this stuff by Frost King that is awesome. It's this all-weather stuff that doesn't try out, doesn't get gooey, and will stand up to nasty weather - it's water-tight.

An endless supply of martini's.

yeah Duct tape, it has a light side and a dark side and holds the universe together!

But now that I read smokeaters response I go with that. Except I need olives cause I like my martinis dirty!
