Ok I'm been trying to find an easy to use forum to discuss the FOX TV show 24. But they're all too cumbersome so I'm using the steady eddie of B.T.com. Any other fans out there? Please talk to me. I HAVE TO TALK ABOUT hours 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Someone talk to me!

Well, I'd love to talk to you about it...but now that I'm a father and my wife doesn't approve of my son watching that show (and it's prime time) I'm now banned from viewing 24. I know I could record it but it just doesn't feel right...am I weird or what to have to watch 24 live.

*UPDATE*
fixed my spelling error

Before I get into this conversation I must ask...what season are you watching in America now??

I am absolutely addicted to this show.  I usually rent the episodes here on DVD and watch them while I'm on the trainer.  At the moment I'm watching Season 3, so please, if you've seen it, DO NOT tell me the ending...or I'll have to come to the US and kick your a$$ personally!!

I am addicted.  It is the only TV show I continue to watch on a consistent basis.  The last 2 nights were a pain because not only did I get to bed late 2 nights in a row (thus having to sacrifice today's am workout for some added shut-eye), but they started at 8!  This meant I had to rush the kids into bed to make sure I could be in front of the tube (no TiVo).  I feel guilty.  So tonight it's quality time with them.

Hi Ovetta:  When I first read the subject line, I thought you were talking about a case of beer!!!!  <img align='middle' src='https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/smile.gif'>  That's what we get 'up here' -  I saw the 1st hour, but can't help you on the 2nd part.  The show Las Vegas called..  What seems to be the problem??

Ha - I thought she was talking about Jeff Gordon! AS a faithful Intimidator fan and subsequent Junior fan, I can't stand 24 - the driver, NOT the show.

I'm a BIG fan also, but last night's show had to go on the video rec due to other conflicts such as Triathlon Club meeting, etc...my fellow workers, though, started to talk about it today and I couldn't get away, so now I know some of the facts...can't wait to watch the vid tonight!

I hate to disappoint you, but hours 1 & 2 were on Sunday.  Yesterday was 3 & 4.  Show will regularly be on Mondays this season.

Oh I just wanted to talk about what happened.

It was incredible! I love Barush's mother. She is one ice queen. Wow. What kind of Machiavelian Leave-It-To Beaver household are they running? How could you do that to Debbie?

And Jack, is he back or what? I loved it when he went into the interrogation room to question the guy:

"What's happening at 8 o'clock?" Then bam, the table goes over and he points the gun at the guy's thigh. Then Bam! See ya! Woudn't want to be you! Wow.

How brilliant was it to make Jack the bad guy to get the satellite feed. The gas station robbery! Fantastic. Brilliant. Never wouldn't have thought it! A quaint surprise. All in the name of national security. Anyone here think Jack needs a hug?

Jack is back baby. Jack is back!

huge fan!  i can't wait to see how it picks up next week... after he is laying face down on the highway surrounding by cops with rifles pointed at his head.

i think this is one of the most well written shows on television.  the incorporate such a large cast of characters, and even though they change season to season its always easy to pick it up.

All I can say is if I get in trouble and Jack walks into the room, I'm spilling the beans big time. Now the big question is;

How is Jack going to bust Chloe out of CTU headquarters. Last season I couldn't stand the sight of her, now... nevermind.

I never would have expected Heller and his daughter to try and escape so early in the storyline. And the staged robbery had me tied up in knots. The amazing thing about the show is even when I watch it a second time to pick up on things I miss, I still get nervous even when I know the outcome.

Just when I think I can give up tv, I get sucked back in, oh well!

Yes. yes. I am TOTALLY hooked on this one. Can't wait for Monday! Brilliant story line. That mother has got to be the creepiest person by far. I wouldn't put it past her to kill her own son. Poor Debbie! I think the son is going to save the day....... just my 2 cents.

Jack is the man!

I agree... I didn't like Chloe so much last season, but this season she is cool.

Ditto. I'm watching the season one DVD on the trainer. That and "Band of Brothers...."

Make sure you watch season 2 if you have not seen it.... it is my favorite.... I have to agree Jack for President.... can you just see it when he gets tired of negotiating with congress or another country and he just starts shooting people in the legs until he gets what he wants...

Well, I'm not liking this new girl at CTU. Yea, she's pretty, but, she's going to cause all kinds of problems.

Is Chloe going to end up in Field Ops. w/ Jack? (no, that's not code!

And what's the deal with the brief case?

How do you think Jack's going to get in & out of that building in 10 min?

They're really doing everything they can to put him out on his own this season.  Chloe gone (for now) and no in with the pres anymore.

I missed the first 10 minutes last night. How did Jack get out of the cop baricade. Last episode he was spread eagle on the pavement, and then 10 min. into this show he had his SUV back and was chasing that guy again......

this one was fairly predictable -- he had the cops call CTU and 'what's her name' vouched for him. I would have rather seen him bust out of a speeding police cruiser. But then again, we already have one Superman.

Yeah, that solution was a little disappointing.  My guess is next week something happens that causes the pres to call off the missle strike just before launch to give our hero a little extra time.

I just don't watch TV, except football games.....but somehow I got sucked into this and really have enjoyed it. My bet is the brief case is going to be some sort of activation device for a "bomb".

I worked homicides and robberies for 8 years, and surely wish I could have used Jack's interrogation style a couple of times.

That is certainly not the "Clever" household......geee
