I am taking a big, big, big break from BT. This playgound has become much too big a part of my life and I need to get my priorities straight, so I'm going cold-turkey - no more BT crack for me! I'm fine, we're all fine, the world is fine etc etc etc. I just need to end this addiction. Seriously.

Have a great tri season (for those of you who actually tri)! Be well. Do good works.

Renee, I wish you well.

It's funny, though...I was just thinking today how much BT has seeped into my REAL life. Today I ate lunch with a BTer, ran past a BTer's house on my little jog, talked to a BTer on the phone, chatted with a BTer on AIM, and sent music to a BTer through the mail. And I am renting a house to a BTer too.

I understand if you don't log your workouts. Its hard to take a break from BT if you still log on almost every day to log your workouts. Give her space people. I hope you find what you're looking for girl.

Eh.  You hang out where your friends are.

The fact that I have more "triathlete lifestyle" friends in other far flung locations than next door is why I spend a fair amount of time "on BT".  If that's a bad thing, then I guess I'm a bad person, and BT is a habit I have no intention of kicking. 

We wish you well Renee.  May you find the center that you seek.  And then you'll be back.

Best of luck, Renee, and thanks for leading so many of last years' challenges. They were fun. But, heck yeah, there is a whole life outside of BT. Enjoy getting back out there.

i understand. i've taken several breaks in the 2+ years i've been here...always coming back for the core essentials that make this place great - the awesome logs and tri info from good people. taking a break is good...but i hope you come back to us.
