You know it's only a matter of time before we see the calls for this.

I mean, the entire story revolves around a 10-year-old and a gun.

Agree?

I’m sure there are already tv stations that have quietly decided not to show it for exactly those reasons. They might not come out publicly and say they’re “banning” it, but it wouldn’t be surprising at all.

Doesn’t Linus quote directly from Scripture at the end of “A Charlie Brown Christmas”? We should probably bleep that out and dub in something a little more, you know, inclusive.

Oh, and “A Christmas Carol” is anti-Semitic. I know it never expressly says that Scrooge is Jewish, but, you know, it’s pretty obvious that that’s what Dickens was suggesting.

Frosty the Snowman? Pedophile. Luring the children to follow him around town? Hello?

Grinch? Glorifying crime. He steals everyone’s stuff and then feels bad about it, so he brings it back and everyone is cool with it? WTF? He should be locked up.

And Rudolph’s clearly gay, but since the other reindeer eventually accept him, it’s cool.

Well done.

I don't think I even have to mention the "coding" inherent in "White Christmas".

I can't wait for the TBS 24 hour marathon! Saw it in 4th grade (at school) the first time. Have watched it at least once ever since. Classic! And even better that my dad's name is Ralph (go ahead, snicker away). It's only December, but I need to laugh at the deranged Easter bunny.

Conan was new the other night and had a great segment that turns out to be a re-run from last year. Amazing how things keep repeating. Last year it was Rick Perry saying something stupid. Now a choir director is not using it for that exact reason, or they changed the word.

This sketch fits both.

When that movie came out in the theatres, I took a date to go see it - I thought it was so stupid I asked my date if we could leave.  We left.  Never liked that movie.
