And Chrisy Wellington...OMG...I got chills when she flew past that girl in first AFTER being back from a flat tire....she is awesome. I need to go buy it now and make everyone I know watch it. I should challenge them to not cry at any point during the DVD. |

She had never seen one before and isn't into sports. At the end she completely understood why I love watching it. She said "I would never be able to do one but I would completely support anyone I knew who did" and went on about how amazing the stories were, how incredible the people are to each other, she was shocked by the camaraderie between the pros. I think she was amazed by the whole thing. It was really cool to see her reaction, not many people will sit down and watch one with me. I laughed, I cried, I got motivated. I love, "She 72. How old are you?" and "You survived the creepy" |

I have a VCR below my TV that doesn't work. It has an annoying yellow light that keeps me up at night and it's so big and bulky I have yet to just unplug the bastard and throw it out. It's been well over a year. I want a DVR but I'm not down for paying monthly to record stuff (plus I have basic cable and am not paying extra for 100+ Jazz music channels) that I probably wouldn't have time to watch anyways. I'll have to look up the Irongirl thing. Oh yeah, DVRs, DVDs, Blue Ray, etc are just fads. Laser Discs are coming back!!!  |
