Anyone else doing this? I've tried the past 2 years but something has always come up. This year I'll be dragging myself away from the TdF on what might be the most exciting day, then I'll hurry home for my son's birthday party, and then I might get time to watch. I hope I don't hear any spoilers out with all those cyclists.

Does anyone know if you can change your mind on the route out on the road? I probably don't have time to do 67, but just in case I get in a pack and I'm really flying.

I'm sure you can change.  It gets a little hilly after you cross Jordan Lake;Lystra is not to be underestimated, but it's a nice climb.  Plus, if you go the full distance, you get ice cream at the 24 mile stop, at the 34 mile turnaround, and maybe even at the 24 mile stop again, plus the custard at the end.

It's all about the ice cream for me...

Alas, I won't be doing it this year.  Have fun!

Hey, I ran into this group twice today on my long ride. I thought about crashing one of the ice cream stops, but decide to push onward. Looked like a fun group.
