Subject: RE: Aero helmet A few things to keep in mind. An aero helmet with long tail will be faster, but only if the tail is following the contour of your back and you keep your head still. If you move your head around (especially looking down, for example for hydration, computer, etc. ) then a short tail helmet will be better.
For most amateurs, a short tail helmet will be a better choice. Personally, I love my KASK Bambino, best helmet for ME. Another option I really like is the Rudy Project Wingspan (super adjustable with open vents, closed vents, mesh vents, then open or closed tail ). |
