Elite  4583   |  Subject: 4.28.18 Sunny Saturday!Good morning! Preparing for a long trail run + hike to accumulate time on my feet--probably about 3-3.5 hours. Packing a chair and lunch so afterwards I can just sit out in the mountains and chill in the sun for a bit! Only taking one of my three dogs--I can't carry enough water for all of us now that it's getting so warm out. I feel bad leaving the other two behind--the mom guilt is real! Lol! Parkland--I'm the same way--I HAVE to run with a hat + sunglasses. If I don't it just feels weird! Have a great Saturday everyone! Some solid training going on! |

623 | Subject: RE: 4.28.18 Sunny Saturday! Sounds like a fun day! Did shoulder and core strengthening early afternoon. 42 minutes on the trainer this evening. Definitely one of those sessions that make you wonder why you are even training. Hoping for a 5-6 mile run tomorrow am. |

Master 8247   Eugene, Oregon Bronze member | Subject: RE: 4.28.18 Sunny Saturday! 1:50 run in the sun, including 30 minutes of tempo pace. It was 93 degrees when I finished.....at 8:15 AM. Ugh. I have to run in a hat even when I run before dawn, because (seriously!) my head is too small--otherwise the strap on my headlamp is too loose and it slips down until I have a headlamp in my mouth. |
