Subject: RE: swim workoutNot a dumb question at all! People do all kinds of things. I personally write them on index cards and then put the cards in a small ziplock bag. When the bag gets too full, I take the cards out and file the ones I want to keep. Some people also write sets on a paper and then put the paper onto a wet kick board. If you use the right kind of ink, this seems to last through the workout. The disadvantage would be that this is clearly only good for one-time use; and it might be a problem if you actually need to use the board for a set! More commonly used in a master's swim setting. Solo swimmers could also stick it to their water bottle. Or you could buy a mini whiteboard (the kind kids use in class ), write sets on it, and put it by your lane.
