Subject: Stating over My last race was June of 2012. I was training for the Patriots Half iron in Sept of 2013. In April I was walking the dogs when one of them pulled me over and broke my hip. After surgery the doctor told me that walking would be difficult and running D@MN near impossible. I would go tot he gym ride the bike, hit the pool, but it was half hearted. I did not have a goal to shoot for, no races to prepare for. Covid hit and the gym closed. Walking the (different smaller dog ) dog was the only exercise and the weight went up and so did the A1C. Gym reopened and I am there 4-6 days a week. Swim M,W, Fr. Bike and weight room Tu, thur, Sat. Rest on Sunday. I would like to do the Patriots Sprint this Sept, even if it means walking the "Run" . |
