Subject: What's the appropriate way to respond?

If someone has left a question in the Inspire Me section of my logs, what's the appropriate way to respond?  Should I  hit the reply button or the blog button?  What's the difference between those two?

I think I know how this works... Both buttons quote the original message into a new one where you can add your response. The reply button puts the resulting message into your log while the blog button puts it in the log of the original message's author.

I will reply in my own log if it's a general interest question that others might be interested in too. I put the reply in the sender's log if the reply is directed specifically to them or I want to make sure they don't miss it. You can even copy your response to both logs if that seems appropriate.

It's up to you and what you feel works for the situation. I don't think any sort of protocol has really developed.
