I just wanted to see 50 on the computer then that was enough for me! I typically don't enjoy speeds over 40 mph. Over here in East Texas, we see in the 30's often and I'm comfortable with that. |

Elite 3088 Austin, TX Gold member | Subject: RE: Whats the fastest you have been on a bike? Just over 54 mph on the descent into Keene on the second lap at IMLP. First lap was still drizzly and wet, so I wasn't nearly as fast. I hit 43-44 mph regularly on one of my rides here in Austin. |

I will never do it again. Oh yeah....forgot about that one. That's the only hill I've ever sat up on because of the speed. What's worse, for those that don't know, is there isn't a shoulder to ride on. You're pretty much in the road with 55-60 mph traffic. |

If you're coming from Lake Travis, then, yeah, you'd probably go down it on the way. |

If I don't apply the brakes, my Suburban will get to something like 90 on that hill. The hills in River Place/Westminster Glen are a much safer alternative to the 2222 hill in my opinion.
