Today BIKE- 103 min x 29degrees with 13 mph winds (103 x (1+1+2))= 412

great riding with Force, Jszat, and DJDavey - it seems we can only muster a frozen four for weekend rides, but good news, no crashes

117 point ride this morning.  It will most likely bee too warm when I go home to get any points!  What the hell I thought this was November in Minnesota!  It will be hard to hit the 1,000 point range this week!

Nope, the 32 degrees falls in the .5 multiplier range, so your score should be 45 mins x .5 multiplier for 22.5 points.

I ran Sunday for 86 minutes, temp was only 39 so I get no points for that.  However the wind was 8.1 MPH average, and it was raining/sleeting lightly.  So I get 172 points.  That goes with the 53 I had from last week. 

Totaling 225. 

That is not too bad for this area.

I had a 29 minute run at 27 degrees pre-dawn yesterday. That racks up 29 points so far for this week. :P

It did cool off enough (according the NWS) that I picked up some points last night on the ride.  (72)  This morning was windy as hell.  I picked up 165 for a weekly total of 354.  I'm really going to pay on the way home (possible snow showers and 40 mph wind!)

Ok I have a question about the swimming part.  I would assume no one is outside swimming in sub 32 degree temps, but I know there are all types. 

How DOES the swimming points work?  Is that swimming in a lake or in the local pool?  Sorry I just am attempting to wrap my brain around that part of this challenge.

There isn't anywhere that I could swim outside in this area.  All the public pools and beaches are long closed.  I could imagine swimming outside, only to be arrested/ticketed for swimming at a closed beach.

Two damn cold windy rides yesterday with snow flurries on the 2nd ride!  racked up some serious points there.  Tonight's ride should get me too much as it won't be too cold and the wind has died down.  I'm at 815.5 for the week.  Once it snows I won't be racking up the big bike points. (maybe )
